The Legends Piano Studio was awarded "Google Favorite Places" status by Google In 2009.

Google identified over 100,000 businesses in the U.S. as "Favorite Places on Google" based on Google users interaction with local business listings.

The Legends Piano Studio website, is proud to have been identified by Google as a "Favorite Place". The list was determined based on the popularity of a business Google Places listing, as determined by how many times Google users looked for more information about a business, requested driving directions to get there, and more. Google users "decided" which website were selected as "Favorite Places" based on their actions, and then Google sent out the decals to notify each website that they had been included in the list. 

Over 100,000 businesses were identified as Favorite Places, representing less than 1% of the 28 million U.S. businesses.

Google state that they believe that their standards for selecting businesses are as selective or more selective than other companies which have run similar initiatives. It is not possible for businesses to request to become a "Favorite Place".
