ABRSM music examinations are taken by over 630,000 music students every year in over 90 countries worldwide.
Students who follow the ABRSM curriculum benefit from an internationally recognized framework of study developed by some of the finest Music Schools in the world - The UK Royal Colleges of Music.
The ABRSM Curriculum gives students a "well rounded" musical education including Theory, Aural and Musicianship skills.
ABRSM has been giving structure and support and setting standards of musical achievement for over a hundred years.
The ABRSM music curriculum is the result of over a hundred years of instrumental curriculum development by The Royal Northern College of Music, The Royal Academy of Music, The Royal College of Music and The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. This provides an international benchmark for musical achievement.
As an experienced ABRSM teacher I know the value that taking part in music exams can have for teachers, parents and students. Many students find it useful to follow the ABRSM curriculum even if they are unable to travel to take the actual exam. For these students a "mock" exam can be arranged with their regular teacher or online assessments may be scheduled. Please contact me if this is something you may be interested in.
